We, as a collective of individuals, have chosen to codify our commitment to represent the company that HAYVN is. We do so voluntarily, genuinely and with commitment.
We would like to introduce you to HAYVN’s ESG Framework, our global and sustainable industry leadership initiative in response to the environmental, social and governance impact of our industry. Like everything we do at HAYVN we take accountability and certification seriously.
We promise to show the end game commitment and journey that HAYVN is working towards and keep telling the story about our progress and what we are doing, achieving and learning along the way. For the HAYVN team, this is an important initiative to build a safe, inclusive and sustainable business and community.
Environmental
The Bitcoin system alone has a carbon footprint of between 22 and 22.9 megatons per year. That is comparable to the footprint of such cities as Hamburg, Vienna or Las Vegas. The mining of cryptocurrencies is at the heart of our industry and at HAYVN we want to take responsibility for the carbon footprint and the additional burden on the climate of mining generally.
Net Zero Greenhouse Gas Emissions by September 2023 is our promise to our current and to our future generations. The path towards this goal is achieved by first addressing our own emissions and to reduce our own energy consumption.
We then want to address the emissions caused by our supply chain to achieve an overall net zero by March 2024.
Social
At HAYVN we believe that all team members should be judged by the quality of their contribution rather than by their gender, skin tone, religion or sexual orientation. We also understand that positive forceful change is needed to help change community stereotypes. We want to empower women of all ages and racial backgrounds to become successful leaders in the world of business and cryptocurrency.
At HAYVN we promote female empowerment within all our regions, with a special focus on Africa and the Middle East. All women of HAVYN have voluntarily committed to joining, supporting and growing a Global Women’s Network. HAYVN provides support including leave, resources, and financial aid to support these initiatives.
Through the Network, members are able to discuss career direction, develop their professional network and skills, find supportive colleagues across the industry, in their home markets and have the support of a mentoring system. We focus on three main development areas for our HAYVN members: education, skills and networking.
Governance

HAYVN employs 28 Full time employees of which 11 (40%) identify as women.
Of those 11, 33% have an executive level role within the company.
At HAYVN we believe work and pay is not to be differentiated by gender, skin tone, religion or sexual orientation. Therefore, we believe that our employees and their salaries should be covered by the HAYVN Equal Pay Policy. It gives the right for men and women to be paid the same for the same, or equivalent, work regardless of gender, skin tone, religion or sexual orientation.
To anchor our commitment, we have implemented a Code of Conduct that maintains a culture at HAYVN based on high ethical standards and accountability.
